Jonathan H. Allen is a partner at the law firm of Peskin, Courchesne & Allen P.C. in Springfield, Massachusetts. Mr. Allen received his Bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from Western New England College in 1994 and his Juris Doctor degree from Suffolk University Law School in 1997.
Attorney Allen has experience in business, creditors rights, contract, construction, real estate and personal injury law. He represents creditors and civil litigants throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Jonathan H. Allen is a member of the Massachusetts bar, as well as the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. His professional memberships include the Hampden County Bar Association where he served for several years as a member of the Board of Directors and Secretary and previously served as the Chair to the New Lawyers Section. Mr. Allen is active in the Commercial Law League of America where he has served as a member of the Board of Governors, Chair of the New England Region, Chair of the Young Members Section, after having served on its Executive Council for several years, Executive Council Member for the Eastern District, and as a member of the Creditor’s Rights Section. Mr. Allen is also an Associate Member of the International Association of Commercial Collectors, Inc. and an Affiliate Member of the Commercial Collection Agencies of America. Mr. Allen is a frequent lecturer in the area of commercial collections and creditors rights. From 2005 through 2013, Mr. Allen was named a Rising Star in the area of Creditor’s Rights by Massachusetts Super Lawyers. Prior to establishing Peskin, Courchesne & Allen, P.C. with Judd L. Peskin and Nyles L. Courchesne in 2005, he was associated with the firm of Weiner and Peskin, P.C. in Springfield, Massachusetts beginning in 1999. Between 1997 and 1999, Mr. Allen worked in a law office in Boston where he concentrated in business litigation, collections, real estate transactions and litigation and estate planning.
Recognized as a “Rising Star” in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011 by Law & Politics and Boston Magazine.
